This colocasia is aptly named elephant ear with its large light green sagittate leaves that can reach 1 meter. It is grown in pots or in the ground in summer. Can be grown as an indoor plant, but beware of the guttation phenomenon (dripping leaf) so as not to damage your furniture or floors. The tuberous rhizome keeps well dormant in winter, indoors, if you don't want to keep the plant indoors.
